Some weeks bring extras — a movie night, a visiting teacher, a festival evening. The WhatsApp community always hears first.

what to expect

How an evening goes

1

Arrive

The hall opens around 5:45. Shoes off at the door, pick a cushion — we lay them out — and find your spot. Just walk in.

2

Sing — or simply listen

At 6 the kirtan begins — or the talk, on Thursdays. Clap, hum, sing when a melody catches you, or close your eyes and just listen. All of it counts.

3

Stay for prasad

Around 8 we close with a lamp ceremony and share prasad — food made with love. The conversation usually outlasts the meal.

Free, truly — walk in without a ticket, a booking or a wallet
Wear something light — summer evenings are warm; anything easy to sit cross-legged in
Bring a water bottle — that’s it
